After winning the toss. Batting sounded like a good idea. soon found that
the pitch was playing low, even after all the hot weather. All three lbw's
keeping pretty low. Every batsmen looked like they were in preety good
touch, 8 players hitting double figures, without any one going on to hit a
big score. Not having much to bowl at, St Cross won pretty comfortably,
although if we had clung onto a catch when the lad that hit 70*, it might
have been a different story.
