Match Report
On a sunny day we batted first fielding a few new faces to the 4th side.
Fraser Tait played a few big hits before being caught on the boundary and Stu Raddon fell to a very good low catch to leave us 53 for 2 off 10. Wickets then continued to fall against some steady bowling until we were 80 odd for 6. Whilst the wickets had been falling Fraser Moon had been playing some nice shots and found a new partner in Jordan Waller. Fraser eventually fell for 48 and i quickly went to leave us 123 for 8. Ian Street and Jordan then counterattcked with great success until Jordan fell for a maiden league 50. Some more blows from Ollie Challis and Ian took us to a score of 187 all out.
Fraser Moon and Ian Street opened the bowling and with 2 wkts from Fraser and one from Ian Portchester were soon 21 for 3. I replaced Fraser and in my third over took 2 wkts, Ollie Challis replaced Ian and bowled well.
2 more from me and 3 from Ollie aided by a brilliant one handed catch by Tom Hopkins saw Portchester blown away for just 72.
A brilliant performance from the youngsters again allowing the older hands to nibble away and all this without a single ball bowled by Richard Azar who took 5 last week. Three wins on the trot now and confidence is sky high.
