Match Report

In a rare timed game on a sunday these days we batted 1st and set a total of 193-7, keith 33 not out and me 58 not out got us there, with abit of late hitting and running, to much for a sunday for my liking, after a shakey middle part of our innings.

Some good bowling by everyone reduced them to 8 down but we couldn't quite force the win and think they ended up around 120 some way short. Young ollie bowled really well without taking any wickets although should of had 1 had it not been for the umpire being on his phone, about 6 mins later the batsman had the sense to put his foot back behind the line, think i had time to appeal a few times. It was nice to see someone so young not afraid to give it some air. Think it was 2 wickets each for C Raddon, R Azar, Dr Edwards & Keith. It was an enjoyable day and a pleasure to play in so congrats to everyone and Captain Cat
